Local wine

Wine growing has a long tradition in Marche. The Romans also appreciated the quality of the local wine and Hannibal is said to have strengthened his horses with the wine now known as Rosso Canero on his journey to Rome.

Marche is one of the medium-sized wine producing regions of Italy, with some 20,000 hectares of vineyards. However, the many small wineries around Jesi but also the ones in the Conero region are special. With heart and mind, excellent wine is produced here, which is still an insider tip.

The fortified villages around Jesi invite you to taste the Verdecchio Castelli di Jesi on site. Small fine wineries want to be discovered. For red wine lovers: closer to the sea you can enjoy the Rosso Conero, go south to taste the Rosso Piceno or explore the surroundings of Jesi to appreciate the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba.

You can discover the wines of the region on your own, at one of the numerous wine festivals or on a guided wine tour - we will be delighted to help you organize an unforgettable day in the vineyards for you.
